What is LinguiServe?
LinguiServe is a freelance company owned and operated by me, Dylan Ashton. I, through the LinguiServe brand, offer Japanese to English language services, including, but not limited to, Japanese to English translation and localization, English proofreading, and Japanese or English voiceovers.

I specialize in electrical engineering and electronics. However, as a lifelong learner, I am always open to learning new things, so feel free to contact me about any project you may have.

About Me
My name is Dylan Ashton. Born in Vancouver, I British Columbia, Canada, I moved up to the Okanagan in 2013. Leveraging my lifelong interest in mathematics, I began studying at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna for an undergraduate in electrical engineering. While it is true I like math and electronics, I really like learning words and languages. Realizing how much of a good pair the two make, I decided to embark on the journey of becoming a freelance Japanese to English language service provider.
Using my knowledge in electronics and electrical engineering, I decided use them as a bedrock for the specialization LinguiServe provides.

Japanese to English Translations and Localizations
Have a project that needs to be translated from Japanese into English? I will happily provide such a service for you while also accommodating a variety of file formats. Depending on the context of the project, I can provide a more literal translation (best suited for official documents such as patents, technical documents, etc.) or a more interpretive translation for a specific audience, in other words, a localization (best suited for marketing materials, literature, social media, etc.).
English Proofreading
Have a document in English you need double-checked? I will proofread your document for errors of style, grammar, syntax, format, and, of course, spelling.
